I will be buying the book later today, it sounds right down my alley. A good book is Wm. Engdahl's "Seeds of Distruction," and it is about GMO food. You can also go to my web site and down load the first chapter of my book for free, "Disease is Elemental."

I just wanted to say I just finished reading your book literally a minute ago and would like to thank you for your crazy year. I’m not sure I’ll even make half the changes you did but I’ve been slowly making changes at my own pace. You really got me interested in making my own compost box and trying out the diva cup. I found out about Sleeping Naked is Green from an i- rewards flyer and bought it without even really knowing what it was about. Worth every penny. Thanks:)

Very interesting post! I'd really love to read this book (and yours too) but I can't afford them since I'd have to get them sent to Argentina and that's waaay too pricey for me. If you ever travel here please bring me a copy! :D

Hi thanks for sharing snippets of the interview and your views about the book. Yes, sometimes it’s a little unsettling to have to deal with a barrage of information that would tend to push us into getting paranoid over the things we eat. I guess it is good to have a balance. Neither too liberal nor at the same time too obsessed with avoiding anything and everything.

Nice post!

I just finished reading your book "Sleeping Naked is Green" and I loved it!! (BTW, I thought the title was kinda cool - not too heavy.) And I look forward to reading this book next! Thanks for bringing it to my attention. Cheers!

this is all getting too scary for me. i don't know if I want to leave my house anymore (low VOC paint, low VOC Ikea furniture, natural fibres in the bed linens and area rugs, and lots of plants to clean the air - I might actually be safe inside.)

i felt the need to tell you that i finished your book yesterday, and i was filled with such a warm, fuzzy feeling immediately afterward. i'm so happy with the outcome of your challenge and proud of you. you could consider me somewhat of an environmental extremist (i make a point not to be smug about it), but to make all the changes you made would even be difficult for me. i learned a lot from your book and you've inspired me to educate myself much more and explore other lifestyle changes.

so in short, thank you for sharing (sorry to sound like a fan girl)! love your blog, and keep up the green work :)
