I had literally just finished reading your book (which I read like an addict when I saw your free-book post. I was at the bookstore in August and your book title caught my eye (shocking, huh?). I knew I had to buy it because my boyfriend and I are doing the same thing! In June we started http://www.bethechange365.com and we make one change a day for this year that is either green or just good for us.
I am a huge fan and it was so fantastic to read about your experience doing almost the same project. Thank you for all the inspiration you have given us. And if you have a few minutes I would be so happy if you stopped over at our site to check out our green year.

Here in west palm Beach Its been raining on and off all day.

In fact, as I look out of the Barnes & Noble emergency exit door to my right ( next to the photography section )
I see gray skies, rain showers and water beads on vehicles parked nearby.

Oh look !! There’s a young Asian couple making a run for it – you go girl – whew … they’re safe!

I read your book not that long ago, could hardly put it down. You’re challenge inspired me a twinge to change what I can where I can, so thanks. Also, thanks for a great read, and letting me know I’m not the only person who feels stuck between smug hippies and whogivesadamners.
So, I usually hold on to all my favorite books, but in green spirits, I did the most environmentally friendly thing I could think to do with it: traded it in at a used bookstore (which also happens to be my place of employment, ha) so others can find it and read it, then trade it back again.
