Just a couple pics here, taken from my apartment. We’re currently in the midst of one of the biggest snowstorms in six decades — but that doesn’t stop us Canadians from riding our bikes! (See the bottom of the second photo, below) I’m glad I’ve got plenty of fair-trade hot chocolate.

The snow is bad here in the states as well. I had to drive from Chicago to Indiana and I had to drive 35mph down the highway on account of the snow. It was ridiculous! Currently my dad is stuck in Michigan trying to catch a flight back to California. We feel your pain too Vanessa!

Speaking of pain, I had a 4-foot high, 6-foot wide windrow (aka bigass pile o’ snow left by the plow) to dig out last night. The pitfall to living in a cul-de-sac. I got about 1/3 of the way through before my back admitted defeat and I left it for my boyfriend to tackle when he got home. At this point, the snowbanks are so high the neighbours are starting to disappear!

No snow down here in Tucson, AZ, but I want to cheer on the fellow bicyclist. Yay, woohoo, you go!
