Sorry for the late post today, everyone. Really, I mean it. Here, let me make it up to you — how about I warm up some fair-trade hot chocolate and serve it with a big dollop of organic whipped cream on top? I’ll even be extra environmentally friendly and whip it by hand with a whisk instead of using my electric wand. In fact, I’ll go another step further and promise to do this from now on until the end of my challenge.
So am I forgiven? Pleeeeease?

Oh, thanks, Vanessa. Make me feel guilty about my Aerolatte. Sorry, I’m not willing to give that up yet. It was so helpful in getting me outta Starbucks. At least I use rechargable batteries and we just got our solar battery charger.
We’re in the midst of a snowstorm that will deposit between 40-60cm (2ft) of snow on Ottawa. A hot chocolate sounds like a marvelous idea
Same goes for can openers. Unless your hands are really messed up (or you just feel SUPER lazy) there is no point in having an electric can opener as well.
