So I went out and bought a few plants, as per Tuesday’s official green change, and thought I’d post some pictures of them. Aren’t they cute?

Very nice.
Plants make any home feel nicer.
I just read your entire blog. I think that its important that you know that
.
I’m racking my brain for suggestion for your forward progress, and I didn’t read all your comments so I don’t even know what has and what has not been suggested. Did you ever think about getting a solar messenger bag. They are a little pricey, but they’d fit all your green gear and even power it up too. Do you have co-ops in your area? It would help you eat more local and they do the shopping for you (kinda).
Anyway, I really like what you are doing here. It’s totally rad. If you’re really up for it you could come live in the woods with me. I have a tiny footprint.
Loves,
Amy
Love the plants! Really LOVE the first one and that beautiful flower planter – where did you ever find that???
Looks great!! Watch out for the jade, those suckers can GROW!
I second Amy, this is a great website and I love checking in every day to see what change you’ve made. My man and I decided to use our paper bags and other miscellaneous paper around the house to wrap Xmas presents this year. Also, don’t know if you’ve looked into this (too lazy to check your archives), but there are 100% organic biodegradable cotton tampons available online (hard to find at most stores).
You’re doing a great job, keep going!
Very cute plants! I especially like the second one. I need to get some more plants…I’m not so good at keeping them alive though
I love succulents and my garden is full of them. They like lots of sun, so I’m not sure how they’ll go as an indoor plant, but if that window gets lots of light, they’ll be happy. They don’t need much water, but I’ve found that in winter when my succulents get rained on, they flower. I’ve just been taking photos of them and you can see the pics on flickr.
what lovely plants! as a fellow toronto-ite looking to invest in some aie-cleaning houseplants, I’m wondering: where did you find them, and did they come in those cute pots?
(air-cleaning, that is. oops!)
[...] a lot of succulents in my garden and they easily strike roots from broken off parts. Sometimes a nicely potted succulent makes a very pretty (and long lasting – no watering needed) [...]
